I have over 20 years of experience in the technology industry in Australia, Asia, Europe & US. I have been a Venture Partner with OIF since 2020 and a member of the Investment Committee. Alongside this, I am currently the Group CEO at Versent, a leading Australian cloud first technology partner with operations worldwide. Prior to joining Versent l spent 5 years at AWS as Managing Director in ANZ and then APJ and before that I held leadership roles in Australia and Asia with BT, IWG and Ernst & Young. I am passionate about supporting exceptional Australian founders as they build exceptional businesses.
Lessons to live by
Culture is one of the most effective mechanisms leaders can use to build an enduring, innovative company. It’s also very difficult and requires a lot of discipline and persistence. For me the two principles that standout are that great leaders combine a deep focus on customer success with long term thinking to deliver results.
on the lookout for
There are numerous platform capabilities that have been introduced in the last 5-10 years that together, will create an exponential multiplier for innovation. Personally, I am super excited about the combination of cloud, edge computing and AI. Those 3 things together will propel innovation across virtually every sector in Australia to solve incredible problems ranging from agricultural productivity to fire prevention to sustainability and many more.
